A suite of experimental animations promote French artist Christine and the Queens.
I took on custom gif-style animation with moving type and objects and duotone video; movie editing carefully aligned to musical cues; paralax production, and hand-drawn, frame by frame rotoscoping. Movement is an intuitive extension of the artist’s contemporary choreography on tour, from the subtle flex of a wrist to full-body emoting.
